How to Sew Curtains with Rings

A curtain can change the whole atmosphere of your room. If you are thinking of buying new curtains but don't have extra money for it, you can make your own for only P100.00 pesos each. The good thing is, you can choose your own materials and design.

Don't worry if you are newbie to sewing. I am new to sewing too. I bought my second hand sewing machine only two years ago and I don't have the time to practice. So I encourage you to begin  practicing your sewing skill with me.  By the way, I am full time church minister so, if you think you don't have the time,  I am the same. My suggestion is, instead of sitting in  front of television, start sewing. If you don't have a sewing machine, you can hand stitch.

Here's my new creation:

Materials
  • 8 yards of cloth (40 width)- it can make four panels.
  • curtain rings
  • thread that match the color of your cloth.
I bought all my materials in Divisoria for only Php.380.00

Cheap and Easy: Toilet's New Look

We live in a very modest house.  Since I like and enjoy nice and good things, but I don’t have the extra money to buy them,  I try to make things on my own. My latest creation was my toilet accessories. I bought a  4 yard cloth material. The cloth is made of semi nylon. I hemmed the 2 yards and make a shower curtain out of it.  Then I hem another curtain to cover the bottom of our toilet sink. I sew elastic to make it stick around the sink. I used it as storage for cleaning materials.
Another discovery is the toilet seat cover and toilet tank cover to make them match the curtains. To make it, I sew elastic around the edge. I measured the size of your toilet tank and for good fitting.
I spend only Php. 120.00 pesos for our toilet’s new look and  8 hours sewing time.
